Kristin & Kellie

As I drove home ... I thought of "Perfect" as an opening.    I thought, "some days you remember for the rest of your life".    Then I thought of " the Marx brothers except really beautiful".  :)    This day genuinely was perfect.

The temperature was 71 degrees.   The day was gorgeous and the last of the Cherry blossoms were still on the trees.  It was as if nature had conspired to make this day perfect.   So many people stopped to smile, tell Kellie and Kristin how beautiful they looked and to offer congratulations and good wishes.    Tourists did what tourists do, they vicariously enjoyed and shared in a happy, beautiful wedding day.

With my heartfelt thanks to Kristen, Kellie and their families and friends for sharing this wonderful day.

Special Thanks to Jared Bieschke for perfect timing and brilliant ideas.   Love love loved the stroll through the Hirschhorn sculpture garden and the roof top toast.

Courtney & John

My special thanks to Courtney and John for being so amazing!

I know this is going sound old fashioned and even mushy .. but the world really does love lovers.    From from the Lasque caves onward our art has focused on one subject more then any other "Love".   It takes us all back to our own first experience of those exhilarating moments with that one person who just seems to "click".

Courtney and John braved 55 degree weather, found the last remaining cherry blossoms, posed in the pillars of the Jefferson and enjoyed wine and a picnic on the Potomac.   I am not sure they even realized how many couples stopped for just a moment to watch and smile at them.    Couples in love give us all a gift in sharing their experience and their magic.   When Courtney talked about the upcoming wedding and her dress, her hazel green eyes just lit up.   When John followed Courtney along the walls of the Jefferson he surveyed his beautiful bride for a moment, turned to the camera and just beamed.

Courtney and John finished their picnic at the courthouse where they happily walked off, picnic baskets in hand, to line up for their marriage license.    I suspect they will remember this romantic.. chilly day for the rest of their lives. I think we all will.

Congratulations Courtney and John
