Aisha & Orlando - Fall Wedding at the Park Hyatt

Our heartfelt thanks to Aisha and Orlando for making us part of their wonderful day.

Truely, in decade,  this was one of the most elegant days I have ever worked.   Aisha and Orlando chose fall colors for their day with orange roses, deep purple calla lilies and speckled orchids in stunning bouquets and center pieces.   The new  renovation at the Park Hyatt came to life with the amazing color.

"Washingtonian"-  Miami-based Gonzalez Architects and Jane Dillon Design Group have transformed the Park Hyatt Washington’s entire lower level – 10,000 square feet if you are counting – into “The Gallery.” The floor plan and new look match the hotel’s emphasis on interpreting “American artisanship” in a sophisticated, modern manner. The hotel’s modern Americana motif, which emphasizes rich woods and earth tones mixed with contemporary art works.

This is all well and good but to the untrained artists eye ..... the place is just a visual heaven.  What is most fascinating about the new renovation is the contemporary efficient lighting which mixed so brilliantly with the old fashioned votive candles.

Sneaking off to the Cherry Blossom Glass is one of the great rewards of a day at the Park Hyatt.   Mastery of this lighting is a never ending pursuit and a joy every time we photograph it.
